When I first heard about blue limestone,I thought it was just a cheap stone that couldn’t be put in classy places or indoors.Because when compared with Carrara,Calacutta,and Cream Marfil are like young ladies,whereas blue limestone is simply a white bearded sloppy old man.So it's hard to fall in love with limestone at first sight.
It was by chance that two blue limestone tiles were placed on my desk,just quietly standing there.I was busy and not in the mood to move them.So they stayed till I touched them out of curiosity.That touch changed everything.It was in the summer and the air conditioner was off.So something a little cold would be nice.As it turned out,it was not just cold,but also unbelievably smooth,even smoother than my skin.Without words,my fingers couldn’t keep themselves off the tiles.Through the nerves in my fingers I felt comfortable and peaceful.So above all the good looking products,blue limestone is a special one.He makes the attention all about the people,not competing for attention like the others.Though they're beautiful and shiny,they're not for me.
There's something mysterious about blue limestone.It's like an old man with stories,it draws you but never exposes you.For me,he is noble and mysterious and I intend to keep it that way.
